A beautiful, deep copper red gem 1938 Lincoln cent from the San Francisco mint bearing the S/S re-punched mint mark (RPM). This example is graded MS67 Red by NGC and is exceptionally rare in such a fine state of preservation for the variety. The coin displays pristine surfaces, rich detail and clearly evident S/S mintmark. This example is tied for the highest grade achieved for the 1938-S/S FS-501 variety at NGC - shared by only three other examples.
