A beautiful, deep copper red gem 1938 Lincoln cent from the San Francisco mint. This high-grade example is graded MS67 Red by NGC and is characterized by pristine surfaces and rich detail. The 1938 issue was the smallest Lincoln Cent mintage from San Francisco post 1931, but many of the graded 1938-S survivors are available in mint state. None-the-less, this example is exceeded in grade by only 40 examples between both NGC and PCGS that have achieved a MS67+ designation.
