A sharply struck, well preserved 1936-S Washington quarter from the San Francisco mint. This premium gem specimen retains a toned patina on original surfaces and is graded MS67 by NGC. The 1936-S Washington quarter saw one of the lower mintages of the series. Although mint state and even gem examples are obtainable, they are conditionally rare in MS67 and none are graded finer at NGC or PCGS.
