A lovely 1919 Walking Liberty half dollar from the Philadelphia mint. This example, graded VF20 by NGC, exhibits the smoothed surfaces consistent with a long life in circulation. One of the lower mintages of the series, few 1919 half dollars have survived the last century and fewer still were retained in uncirculated condition. Fewer than 2,000 graded examples are listed by PCGS and NGC combined.
