This gem quarter eagle has lustrous, frosty surfaces and sharply struck details. This example grades MS65 by NGC.  Being the last year of issue, the 1907 Liberty Head was both struck and preserved in large numbers, many of which can be found in mint state condition, although this example is well above average for the year. Examples become increasingly rare above MS65 grade.  NGC lists just over 600 finer examples available in MS66(pop.= 445), MS67(pop.= 170) and MS68(pop. = 8).
