A beautiful, high grade 1904-O Morgan dollar from the New Orleans mint. 1904 was the last year that Morgan dollars were struck at the New Orleans mint. Minting continued there until 1909, when the facility was permanently closed. This example is graded MS65 by NGC. This is a beautiful example, with almost no marks on the cheek and face, smooth fields and a beautiful light brassy toning on the reverse. The 1904-O Morgan is a common variety, but this is handsomely above average.
