A rich, frosty yellow-gold 1901 Liberty Head Eagle from the Philadelphia mint. Radiant surfaces and rich mint state detail make for a very pleasing specimen. 1901 saw the sixth highest mintage of the nearly 100-year long series, making this one of the more commonly available Liberty Head Eagles, many of which were retained in mint state. A very nice specimen.
