This is an exceptional example of the 1891-CC Morgan dollar from the Carson City mint. This coin is graded MS64+ by PCGS. This example has clean fields and minimal contact points on the face. It shnes with brilliant mint luster. This coin has also earned a CAC endorsement as an exceptional example of the grade. While many of the 1891-CC mintage have survived, most of those survivors are heavily marked. The 1891-CC Morgan dollar becomes very uncommon in higher grades, with fewer than a thousand grading higher at PCGS.
