A gorgeous example of the 1885 Carson City Morgan dollar. This radiant example has clean surfaces, beautiful light play when turned over in the hand and great surface reflectivity. The 1885-CC issue was small, with only 238,000 coins originally minted. The survivability of the 1885 issue is relatively large however, since over 148,000 survived in government vaults and were released to the public in the early 1970's as part of a series of GSA auctions.
