A beautiful, mint state example of the 1881 Carson City Morgan dollar from the GSA hoard. This radiant beauty has clean surfaces with only the slightest of contact marks, beautiful light play when turned over in the hand, and free of toning. This example is graded MS63 by NGC. The 1881 issue was one of the lower Morgan dollar mintages with a total issue of only 296,000 coins. Only three other Morgan dollars of the 94 issued had a lower mintage.
